The North East Human Factors Network of Health Education England will be holding their first regional conference and are inviting delegates to this multi-professional educational event. The purpose of the event is to improve the understanding of the benefits of applying human factors to healthcare, in particular the role of human factors in improving patient safety and quality of care.

There will be a mixture of presentations and workshops delivered by national and local speakers and the event will be held in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors.

Priority for places will be given to the local healthcare workforce working across the north east and Cumbria. Attendance amongst CIEHF members will be prioritised for those who have been accepted to present case studies or workshops.

Submissions are now invited for case studies, workshops and posters. Please contact quality@ne.hee.nhs.uk for more information or visit their website
