The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh are sponsoring an international symposium on “Current Approaches to Understanding Surgical Error” ( in Leeds on December 9th 2016.

A variety of internationally leading clinicians and researchers are lined up to present, including Ken Catchpole, Professor of Clinical Human Factors at the Medical University of South Carolina and Professor Narinder Kapur, former President of the British Neuropsychological Society.

The keynote talk is to be delivered by Mr Henry Marsh- one of Britain’s leading neurosurgeons and author of the widely acclaimed memoir “Do No Harm: Stories of Life, Death and Brain Surgery”.

Registration is open now, and there are only a limited number of places available. There is a discounted registration fee of £50.00 for all NHS staff and we now extend this discount to all CHFG mailing list members. You can book your place via this link (choose option E)
